OVER THE LINE
Feature Film - Thriller
A therapist has regular sessions with a longstanding patient online. During one session, the patient has a heart attack and can’t call for help. Due to the online nature of their arrangement, the therapist only has an old address to give to the emergency services, and they can’t get to the patient’s aid. Whilst the ambulance drivers try to work out the new address from neighbours, the desperate therapist races across town to the approximate area, following places, landmarks and even people mentioned in the sessions they have had to slowly narrow down the address. The therapist also has to use all their psychological skills to deftly deal with the tricky characters they encounter on the way. Can they get there in time to save their patient? Or perhaps at least be with them as they breathe their last.
